Luciana Bianchi

Luciana Bianchi is an Italian–Brazilian food writer and trained chef with a background in Molecular Science (major in Organic Chemistry and minor in Film Studies and Journalism). She has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, cooked for celebrities, interviewed most of the best international chefs, and has published work in 14 countries. Luciana is a member of the Guild of Food Writers UK, a contributor to the of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, a writer of the Italian International Food Guide, Identità Golose, an international food correspondent for UOL Brazil, and a columnist of Inter, the oldest gastronomy magazine in Portugal. A frequent traveller and food researcher based in the UK, she also divides her time between Brazil and Italy. With more than 20 years experience in the field, she is a consultant for the food industry and for publishers, a speaker at numerous conferences, and a producer and food stylist for book projects. Bianchi contributes to international magazines, newspapers and food guides, and her articles and micro-blogging have thousands of followers in social networks. Her new book – Brazilian Food – is for sale in several countries. According to chefs and specialists, Luciana Bianchi is one of the most influential people working in gastronomy, forming opinion and discovering new talents around the world.
