World-renowned chef Dani García is returning to New York with new projects following the closure of his restaurant Manzanilla in New York and his 3 Michelin-starred restaurant Dani García.
He’s got a few projects he’s working on right now. The first is Casa Dani, a fine dining restaurant, while the other venture is Minük, which will become a fast-casual venue. Both will open in a new 40,000-square-foot kitchen space called Citizens, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year. According to the Fastcasual.com, both restaurants “specialize in Mediterranean flavor with a Spanish flair.”
García, who has big plans for both, plans to open 15 Casa Dani and 100 Minuks in the next five years. For this project, the world-renowned chef and his group will partner with Creating Culinary Collectives (C3) and Sam Nazarian. C3 CEO Sam Nazarian said, “Dani is a globally renowned chef and a true culinary innovator. He and his team are an exciting complement to C3 and together we look forward to creating a new food and beverage paradigm.”
