Born in Africa (Dakar) in 1975, Alexandre is 6 years old when his family comes back to Noirmoutier (France) to open a bar-restaurant called La Marine. He took over his parents restaurant located on a little island opposite a fishing port, when he was 22 and he built up a formidable reputation for his cooking there. In 2007, Alexandre gets his first star at the guide Michelin. Thanks to its unique
style, La Marine won the second Michelin star in 2013.
