Carlos García studied culinary studies at the Hoffman Hosterler School in Barcelona Spain, in 1996. He studied at restaurants such as El Bulli (1998), Celler de Can Roca (2005), and others. In Venezuela he became the chef of Malabar (2003-2007) where he achieved great recognition and respect in Caracas, with a proposal of creative international cuisine. At the end of 2007, he opened his own restaurant: ALTO that ranked high at the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants List in the previous years.
