Famous chef Alain Ducasse to leave Paris restaurant

Famous chef Alain Ducasse, who has the most Michelin stars in the world, is leaving the restaurant of Plaza Athenee, the luxury Paris hotel where he has worked since 2000 and has developed a “naturalness in the kitchen” approach. The partnership between Plaza Athenee and Alain Ducasse will end on June 30, 2021, and the contract will not be renewed.

The Dorchester Group, which runs Plaza Athenee, did not give a reason for their decision to part ways, but confirmed they will continue to collaborate at their other restaurants, le Meurice in Paris and The Dorchester in London.
