Japan is increasing its success in Italian cuisine day by day. This year’s winner of Barilla Pasta World Championship 2019, with an 8-year history, was chef Keita Yuge.
The chefs from all over the world competed to make the best pasta in the competition that took place in Paris on 10-11 October. The main theme of this year’s competition will be The Art of Pasta.
Chef Keita Yuge finished the Barilla Pasta World Championship 2019 with the creamy gorgonzola penne. Last year, among 17 young chefs, Carolina Diaz won the Master of Pasta title and became the first woman in the history of the competition.
