Michelin Guide 2022 announces new starred restaurants in Hong Kong

The Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau 2022 was announced on January 19, with nine restaurants earning a new Michelin star and two restaurants earning a second star. The announcement was made online for the second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic. Two Hong Kong restaurants that earned a second Michelin star were Octavium and Cantonese restaurant Yan Toh Heen, where chefs Roland Schuller and Bjoern Alexander were acclaimed for their mastery of Italian classics and homemade pasta.

Three Michelin stars

Hong Kong: Caprice, Forum, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Lung King Heen, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Sushi Shikon, T’ang Court
Macau: Jade Dragon, Robuchon au Dôme, The Eight

Two Michelin stars
