Maria Canabal is a journalist, restaurants critic and food writer. She is the curator of prestigious international gastronomic congresses and lecturer at universities and events in the five continents. She has been honored with several awards and recently named «most influential woman in gastronomy» in 2015 by the foundation Madrid Women’s Week. Her latest book «Coquilles Saint-Jacques» was awarded as «Best Design Cook Book» Gourmand Cookbook Awards prize. She is also the president of Parabere Forum, an international platform that promotes diversity in the world of gastronomy. Maria has a degree in law from the University of Toulouse (France), she holds a degree in Gastronomic Journalism by the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and she graduated from the Chair Ferran Adria at University Camilo Jose Cela in Madrid (Spain). Polyglot, she divides her life between Paris, Madrid and Copenhagen.
